Description: Mud Ridge Ranch, located just west of Red Oak, is operated by Matt & Jocelyn Vermeersch. Alongside landowners, Maggie McQuown and Steve Turman, the Vermeerschs have worked to turn row crop into grazing land using regenerative practices. They raise Highland cattle for breeding, nutrient dense beef, and a variety of products, alongside sheep that they use to manage vegetation. They also raise chicken and sell eggs direct to consumer.
